WindRank is a non-commercial information service, published by an individual on a non-professional basis. It sells nothing, runs no advertising and pursues no commercial activity.

The publisher can be reached by email at contact@windrank.com for any question, request or notification concerning the site.

As a non-professional publisher, the publisher wishes to preserve anonymity by relying on article 1-1 II of French law No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 (LCEN). This option requires the legally required identification details to have been provided to the hosting provider before the service is published.

The application is hosted by Lovable Labs Incorporated, 1111b South Governors Avenue, Dover, DE 19904, United States.

The database, user accounts and authentication rely on Lovable Cloud, which is itself built on Supabase infrastructure.

The domain name and the email service are provided by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France. OVHcloud does not currently host the application itself.

The structure of the site, its texts, the WindRank name and identity, and the WindRank Score methodology are protected, subject to third-party rights on the underlying data and services.

Any substantial reuse, reproduction or extraction, in particular of the rankings and editorial content, requires prior authorisation from the publisher.

Historical weather and marine data come from Open-Meteo and are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). WindRank adapts and aggregates this data to build its own indicators.

This adaptation and aggregation does not mean that Open-Meteo endorses WindRank or its results.

Spot maps are provided by Google Maps and are subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and to the Google privacy policy.

The information published on WindRank is indicative and statistical. It is neither a real-time weather forecast nor a guarantee of conditions, safety or navigability at a given spot.

Before any session, users must check local forecasts, local rules and the advice of local authorities, schools and clubs. The publisher cannot be held liable for decisions taken on the basis of the information provided.
